We had a fantastic day yesterday at Games Day UK 2013, there was so much to see and there was a great atmosphere, but one of the main reason people go this fantastic event is to see some amazingly painted miniatures, I am of course talking about the Golden Demon entries, and I can say first hand, the competition this year was tough. There was so many great entries, I found myself staring into those glass cabinets in awe for some period of time! For those of you that weren’t able to go and see these miniatures for yourselves I have managed to get some pictures up for you, I apologise for any lack of quality in some of the pics, its not easy to get decent focused shots in the little time you have before you get nudged along by the person behind you. Anyway Here are some pictures for your enjoyment!
Lord of the rings – single miniature
Wraithknights! (not an actual category but probably should have been)
Well there you have it guys and girls, some amazing stuff I’m sure you’d agree. These just goes to show how good you can be with a lot of practice. There is one entry I would love to give a special mention to, and thats the diorama of the Contemptor picking the cherry blossom…Just wow! So original and visually stunning, this entry may not have won but it was a winning entry in my opinion and the creator should be super proud!
Having said that all of the entries and winners were amazing and I have the upmost respect for their skills…Well done UK!!!
